After a busy and successful fall hosting community engagement sessions from coast to coast to coast, the AFAC is moving the Indigenous Fire Marshal Office (IFMO) project to the next phase. As we carry this project forward, we are looking to fill a variety of positions. The IFMO project is ‘for us, by us’ and we encourage all qualified applicants to apply!

Project Manager — Closing February 18, 2020
Put your organizational skills to use to help the IFMO project meet funding and reporting requirements! This position will report directly to the AFAC Board of Directors and will work closely with the AFAC Director of Administration. This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates to fill multiple positions that will be required on an ongoing basis. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in Canada.
Programs and Services Resources — Closing March 31, 2020
Are you skilled at program development, program deliveries or research? AFAC is looking to fill several fire services Programs & Services Resources positions for the IFMO project. This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates to fill multiple positions that will be required on an ongoing basis, including the Programs & Services Lead. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in Canada.
Corporate Development Resources — Closing March 31, 2020
AFAC is looking to fill several positions in the area of Corporate Development Resources for the IFMO project. Roles include work in corporate development including financial management, human resources management, facilities and logistics management, and other assigned corporate development duties. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in Canada.
Research Director — Closing February 28, 2020
If research is your thing, you’re in luck! AFAC is looking for a Research Director for the IFMO project. This role is the key research leader of the organization and project, responsible for the overall design, execution, and management of internally and externally assigned project initiatives. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in Canada.
